Desktop
macOS and Windows are fully supported. Windows 10/11 installs via an Inno Setup installer; macOS installs from an Xcode build.
Linux installs one of two ways, and support depends on the distribution:
.deb— Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and newer, and Debian 13 (trixie). Linux Mint 22, Pop!_OS 24.04, elementary 8 and Zorin 18 are expected to work on the same package (Ubuntu 24.04 base), though not independently verified.- AppImage — Fedora 40+ and Arch/Manjaro/EndeavourOS. openSUSE Tumbleweed/Leap 16, RHEL/Rocky/Alma 10, and immutable distributions such as Fedora Silverblue, Bazzite and SteamOS are expected to work but are untested.
The Linux floor: glibc 2.38+
Cohearo requires glibc 2.38 or newer. This is a hard technical floor, not a rollout gap — the .deb refuses to install on a release too old to run the app, rather than installing and failing.
Not supported: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Debian 12, Linux Mint 21, Pop!_OS 22.04, RHEL/Rocky/Alma 9, and openSUSE Leap 15. If you're on one of these, the app cannot start.
Mobile
Android and iOS are available in early access. They are genuinely earlier-stage than desktop and shouldn't be treated as equivalent to it yet.
